To navigate business in Russia and mitigate miscommunications, an understanding of Russian is essential. The Business Russian course is designed for anyone working in a Russian business environment, or simply interested in learning Russian with a focus on the language of business. It provides a sound foundation of Russian language knowledge, giving foreign professionals the vocabulary, skills and confidence necessary to meet the daily demands of successful business. The course covers negotiating agreements, making contacts, business correspondence, giving presentations in Russian and much more. It includes basic business and commercial vocabularies, and tackles the language difficulties - both verbal and written - that businessmen and women frequently encounter in Russia.

"Survival Russian" for new Moscow residents(Available in Moscow only)
This programme is designed for newcomers to Russia who are planning to live and work in Moscow. The course familiarizes students with the economic, political and cultural situation in contemporary Russia, and helps them to master the practical communication and behavioural skills needed in a Russian-speaking environment (in the office, on public transport, in shops and banks etc.). Guidance is offered on cultural and everyday traditions and the peculiarities of the Russian national character, thereby facilitating personal and professional contacts with Russians. The standard course (1 week tuition only) costs $160 per person. Discounts are available for groups of 5 and more students.

This course is designed to help students communicate and develop professional contacts with specialists in business, medicine, law, politics, ecology, mass media, service industries, or any environment where specialist terminology is used. It is very flexible, and can be tailored to fit individual requirements. Students learn to read and understand specialized texts, and give lectures or conduct discussions in situations typical of their chosen field. The course can include basic business and commercial vocabularies, and helps students overcome the language difficulties traditionally encountered in specialized business environments.
