Alexey Holikov graduated from Moscow State University (MSU), philological department with the degree in Russian language and literature, specializing in Russian as a Foreign Language. Having started his post-graduate degree in MSU in 2006, Alexey successfully obtained doctorate degree in 2014. Now Alexey is teaching in MoscowState University and in Language Link. He teaches literature for British students (RLUS) and participates in Language Link’s programme “Methods of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language”. The area of his professional interests lies in Russian Conversational Language and the Language of Modern Russian Literature. Alexey is the author of many articles on modern art and literature in Moscow and Russian journals. Also he published two books about Merezhkovsky in 2010 and 2014.
